We are sad to tell you that our beloved Putty died earlier today. She lived a very long and eventful life, and was the best kitty ever. Putty was 20 years old. She will be sorely missed.

What a holiday season it was....

First,

Poor Harley, He suffered through his annual humiliation by having to wear reindeer antlers during the Christmas holidays. His Momma, Anna, just can't stop herself.

Noey learned about Christmas from her dad and Mom, Nicolai and Nikki, while great-grandma looked on from afar. Noey loves unwrapping presents! She also loves eating them!

And then there was cousin Suki...

Sadly, Cousin Suki succumbed to too many appetizers and a fine glass of red wine.. Happily, she made a complete recovery!

"Noel" joins our extended family!

"Noey" as she is affectionately called by Nicolai and Nikki, her parents, joined them on Saturday. Noey is a lab mix, and was rescued from the pound. She is 3 months old, and has already got Nic and Nikki wrapped around her little tail. I mean, just look at those eyes! The Gig Kitties are planning terrorist activities (e.g. sharpening their claws, etc.) for when Noey comes to visit....

Cousin Suki and her parents, Steve and Susan, are visiting Gig Harbor. It was a lovely day for a walk along the waterfront. The Gig Kitties had to stay home to hold down the sofa in case of an upset in gravity. They did a fine job.

Missen is looking forward to a visit from cousin Suki next weekend. He got the dog house moved to a new location and all cleaned out -- and, the welcome sign all polished up. Jon still needs to fix the foundation, though. Maybe some day Buster will come, too! Our buddy, Harley, is coming for the holidays. We can hardly wait!

Our distant cousin, Buster, has posted his own blog. Not to be outdone, we have decided our own Blog is a necessity. We, after all, live in Gig Harbor, which is adjacent to the "most wired city" in the USA -- that being, of course, Tacoma, Washington. So, reader, enjoy. Our names are
