"Noel" joins our extended family!

"Noey" as she is affectionately called by Nicolai and Nikki, her parents, joined them on Saturday. Noey is a lab mix, and was rescued from the pound. She is 3 months old, and has already got Nic and Nikki wrapped around her little tail. I mean, just look at those eyes! The Gig Kitties are planning terrorist activities (e.g. sharpening their claws, etc.) for when Noey comes to visit....

A beautiful walk in the Harbor

Cousin Suki and her parents, Steve and Susan, are visiting Gig Harbor. It was a lovely day for a walk along the waterfront. The Gig Kitties had to stay home to hold down the sofa in case of an upset in gravity. They did a fine job.

Suki pays the Gig Kitties a visit

Suki, our cousin from Portland, came for a visit this weekend. She is leaving doggy-cooties (Yuck!) all over my water bowl.
"Mom, make her stop!"

Welcome!

Missen is looking forward to a visit from cousin Suki next weekend. He got the dog house moved to a new location and all cleaned out -- and, the welcome sign all polished up. Jon still needs to fix the foundation, though. Maybe some day Buster will come, too! Our buddy, Harley, is coming for the holidays. We can hardly wait!

For Pity Sake...

This is what happens with too much beer and pizza.

This is our cousin "Harley" and his dad in Semmes, Alabama. Harley is such a dog.
Refined cats are never found in this position.

Nothing like a little fresh catnip in a barrel....

...and a few rays of sunshine. Why does Karen keep asking us to say "Cheese"? Can't you see we are enjoying a little solitude, here? Missen and Putty

Nuts!

Finally, got rid of the fur-ball named Putty.... I can dine in peace. Now, how many of these little peanuts can I stuff into my mouth....

Squirrel in... Putty out.

Ok --- I'm outta here! (From the diary of Putty)

"Hey, Putty! ....

..... Can you come out to play? "

The truth is, I get yelled at if I even dare to give chase to one of these little rodents. Jon and Karen even go so far as to invite them in to hand feed them nuts. It's not right, I tell you! It simply goes against nature as God intended it!! (From the diary of Putty)

Here, kittie, kittie.....

It has been said that dogs come when they're called, cats take a message and get back to you. --- Steav, rarely.

Here, kittie, kittie.....

It's been a rough day in the Gig

Some days, you just can't make it out of bed. It's been one of those days... Missen

Life in the "Gig"

Our distant cousin, Buster, has posted his own blog. Not to be outdone, we have decided our own Blog is a necessity. We, after all, live in Gig Harbor, which is adjacent to the "most wired city" in the USA -- that being, of course, Tacoma, Washington. So, reader, enjoy. Our names are
Missen, Putty, and Steav. We are not listed in any order of importance; we are each, a very fine cat. And, I might add, a bit spoiled, as well.
